The exhibits follow the Museum’s circular architecture, providing a unique presentation style!

The Ducati Museum is the ideal example of how to condense a company’s motoring heritage into a display concept. The Museum is located next to the factory, not far away from downtown Bologna and very near to the airport. Its convenient location, easy parking and the clever arrangement of the exhibits will provide a memorable experience.

You will certainly leave full of enthusiasm, ready to call your friends and immediately start sharing with them the details of your journey to Ducati’s past and present achievements.

There are four exhibition rooms symmetrically placed like satellites around a central circular auditorium. Each room hosts a production period, thus, the Museum connects the stories of four different eras -from 1946 to 1960, 1961–1989, 1990–2002, and 2003 until now.

Apart from the ingenious arrangement of the motorbikes that are shown in each room, a long circular line of exhibits follows the Museum’s O-shape pattern creating a unique chronological timeline of Ducati’s high-performance motorbikes.

White is the background color of the Museum’s ambience so as to create an airy feeling and allow the bikes to float and become more pleasing to the eye.

A genetic mutation most probably installed motor oil & wheels deep inside me. I love cars from a business, historic & aesthetic perspective. Hence, my writings.
